Our Experience and Acknowledgements

1. PYV employ full-time expert staff with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Many are long serving, highly trained individuals, which provides the base for ensuring continuity of client service and building long-term mutually beneficial commercial relationships with our clients. We also look to employ bright, enthusiastic ‘seasonnaires’ for the busy solicitors season. Many of these get a taste of City Life for the first time and some stay on to become full-time.

2. Nine of PYV’s staff have been with the company for over 15 years each, with many others having served over five years and PYV’s claims team has over 90 years combined experience in handling claims.We employ over 60 staff full time, rising towards 100 during the solicitors season.  The experience we have gained in our core fields is incomparable with other brokers.

3. Our Chairman was Deputy Chairman of NASDIM and was involved in promoting professionalism and the highest standards within the Financial Services industry well before the Financial Services Act 1986.

4. PYV is proud to have been sponsors of AMI and AIFA Leaders of Industry Lunches as well as their joint initiative with the PFS. In 2007, we were asked by the Director General of AMI and AIFA, to submit a chapter on PI for his book ‘A Practitioners Guide to Mortgage Regulation’.  This was followed in 2008 by being asked to submit a report on PI for AMI’s year book.  This was followed in 2009 by AIFA publishing PYV’s report on IFA PI in their year book.

5. PYV’s market standing has been recognised by our staff being invited to be members of various important industry PI working parties and panels, including the FSA’s.
